Welcome to Howard University
School of Business
Department of Accounting

In over twenty years of existence, the School of Business has developed a tradition of excellence in its undergraduate program in accounting. It has graduated over one thousand accounting majors who are in successful careers in public accounting, corporate accounting, government and nonprofit accounting, as well as in universities in the United States and abroad.
The accounting program, which offers a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, is accredited by the American Assembly of Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) - International Association for Management Education. Howard's accounting program is one of only 96 other schools of business with an accredited accounting program, and it is the first program to be accredited in the nation's capital.
