CARL BROOKS
Carl Brooks provides strategic direction and manages and administers
the day-to-day affairs of the Executive Leadership Council, an
independent, nonpartisan, nonprofit organization providing African-American
officers and executives of major U.S. companies with a global
professional network and forum on national and international
economic and public policy issues. He provides leadership
and direction to the staff, and ensures that the Council and
Foundation goals, objectives and program initiatives are achieved. He
served as chairman of the Executive Leadership Foundation’s
Board of Directors (1999-2001) before assuming the presidency. Brooks
has served on numerous boards and was awarded the 2004 EEOC’s
Spirit of Partnership Award. He received his MBA from Southern
Illinois University and his B.S. from Hampton Institute.
