PATRICIA BROOKS-NOBLE
Patricia (Patty) Brooks-Nobles is Market Executive of Commercial
Banking, East Region, Healthcare and Institutions–Atlantic,
where she leads 12 client teams who provide financial solutions
to healthcare, educational, national association, religious,
cultural, civic, and other not-for-profit (NFP) organizations
located in Maryland, Delaware, DC, Virginia, North Carolina,
and South Carolina. She has served in her current role
since October 2004.
Patty joined Bank of America in 1984 as a Relationship Manager
and over the next five years progressed to Team Leader for Middle
Market Banking – Prince Georges County.
In 1991 Patty established the Specialized Industries team in
Washington, DC. That team eventually refined its focus
to Not-For-Profit organizations in Greater Washington and became
known as the Specialty Banking team. In January 2002 the
scope of the team expanded to encompass healthcare providers,
and state and local governments in Maryland, DC, and Northern
Virginia, and general industries clients on the Maryland Eastern
Shore.
Before joining the bank, Patty completed her commercial banking
training at Trust Company Bank, in Atlanta, GA. She was
promoted to Commercial Banking Representative responsible for
commercial clients.
In 1982 Patty earned her BS in Commerce from the McIntire School
of Commerce, University of Virginia, where she majored in finance. In
1987, she earned her MBA from the School of Government and Business
Administration, George Washington University. Additionally,
she earned her Six Sigma Greenbelt Certification in 2003.
Currently she is President of Board of the YWCA of the National
Capital Area, Secretary of Junior Achievement of the National
Capital Area, and a member of the Howard University School of
Business Board of Visitors. She is also an associate member
of the American Society of Association Executives, and a member
of Leadership Washington (Class of 2001).
Patty, a native Washingtonian, resides in Washington, DC with
her husband and children.
