JOANN PRICE

JoAnn Price has been active in several aspects of the private equity industry for more than 15 years.  As a member of Fairview’s investment committee and a general partner of all Fairview-sponsored funds, Price has participated in the investment of almost $600 million in more than 40 venture capital and private equity limited partnerships.  These funds have, in turn, invested in over 480 companies as of June 30, 2001.  Prior to co-founding Fairview in 1994, she served as president of the National Association of Investment Companies.  For more than a decade, Price led policy initiatives in support of member investment companies and built an extensive network of private market investors and entrepreneurs.  These contacts have been an important source of investment opportunities for Fairview’s specialized investment portfolios.  Price is a graduate of Howard University.
