Mr. Harold Gray
Director
During the 1995-1996 academic year, the School of Business
established a Center for Professional Development (CPD), which provides essential
services to all business majors, regardless of their specific disciplines.
The services provided by the Center for Professional Development include
placement of graduates, professional skills modules, company information
sessions, and a Speakers' Bureau, to name a few.
The mission of the CPD is to develop and enhance the professional skills of
all the students enrolled in the School
of Business and to
prepare them to compete in today's and tomorrow's marketplace. To
accomplish this goal, we try to instill in our students the confidence and
fortitude needed to be successful in their professional pursuits. We also
want to instill in our students the desire to achieve excellence in all of
their endeavors. The Center is accomplishing this task through the combined
and coordinated efforts of industry professionals, faculty, staff, and
students committed to ensuring that each graduate has mastered the core
competencies established by the School
of Business.
