Dr. Charlie Mahone joined the Department of Finance, International Business and Insurance in 1989, after serving as the Associate Professor of International business and Management at Florida A&M University.  His primary research areas of interest include: International activities of small and medium sized companies.  He has taught:  Principles of International Business, Management of International Business, International Entrepreneurship, Global Business Environment, and Global Business Strategy.  Mahone has received several awards and distinctions.  He has served as the District of Columbia’s Mayor of Task Force for the Small Business Policy Initiative. Mahone holds a Ph.D. and MBA from the University of Michigan and a BBS from Wayne State University.
