Dr. Jin-Gil Jeong  joined the Department of Finance, International Business and Insurance in 1995, after serving as an Economist at the Bank of Korea from 1979-1983, International Trade Consultant for the Alaska Pacific Marine Services in 1985, and as Lecturer/ Instructor at the University of Maryland, College Park, MD.  His primary research areas of interest include: International Finance, Investments, and Corporate Finance.  Jeong has received a number of awards and distinctions including Best Paper Award at the 5th Annual Global Finance Conference.  He has taught:  International Financial Management, Investments and Portfolio Analysis, Financial Management, Options and Futures.  Jeong holds a Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Maryland, College Park, MD.
