Dr. Charles Ermer joined the Department of Information Systems & Decision Sciences in 1988, after serving as Director of Marketing at Microtel Limited, Product Manager & Engineering Manager at Scientific Atlanta, Industrial Engineering Manager at Atlantic Steel, a member of the Technical Staff at TASC, and Bell Laboratories, and an Electrical Foreman at Bethlehem Steel.  His primary research area of interest include:  Decision Modeling, Personal Finance Models, and Teaching Improvement.  Ermer received the award:  Professor of the Year, ISA, in 1999 and in 2000.  He has taught:  Quantitative Business Analysis, Production/Operations Management (Graduate and Undergraduate), Statistics (Graduate).  Ermer holds a Ph.D. from the John Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD, an MBA from Georgia State University, Atlanta, GA and a BES from the John Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD.
