Dr.
Mohammad Quasem joined
the Department of
Information Systems
& Decision Sciences
in 1987, after serving
as Department Representative
to Graduate Student
Society at the University
of Windsor, Ontario,
Canada. Quasem
has also served as
Vice President of
North America Bangladesh
Statistical Association
(NABSA). He
has also been a member
of the following institutions:
the American Statistical
Association, the Statistical
Association, and The
Institute of Operations
Research and Management
Sciences. His primary
areas of interest
include: Stochastic
Models of Unreliable
Production Line with
Continuous Materials
Flow, Reliability
and Quality Control,
Linear Models, Multivariate
Analysis, and Outsourcing.
Quasem has received
several awards and
distinctions including:
Certificate in Personalities
of the South for Contribution
in the Education Profession,
Inclusion in Personalities
of the South, Fourteenth
Edition, 1989-1990,

Quasem has presented

conferences, and has
published 18 articles
in Refereed Journals
and Proceedings.
He has taught:
Production Operations
Management, Quantitative
Business Analysis,
Data Analysis, and
Statistics.
Quasem holds a Ph.D.
in Statistics from
the University of
Missouri-Columbia,
Missouri, an MS in
Mathematics from the
University of Windsor,
a MSc in Statistics
from the University
of Karachi, Bangladesh,
and a BSc (hons.)
from the University
of Rajshahi, Bangladesh. |
